Subaru has released official details on what we see in the 2011 Forester. The company had previously announced that the new 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder engine that finds its way under the hood of the CUV, as the same turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder found in the current XT. Speaking of the XT, Subaru will now offer the range-topping Forester XT XT Premium Touring and appearances, with limited substitution Touring and the top of the line. That brings presents as self-adjustable HID headlights, dual-zone climate control and a security camera.
In addition, Subaru has included some more goodies in almost all trim levels. Hands-free headset and a one-touch up / down driver's window is standard on all Forester, with the exception of very basic model.
Subaru Upgrades detail is small, five-passenger SUV that offers a 173-horsepower 2.5-liter flat-four 2.5-X, 2.5 X Premium Package, and LLFrijol models, or a 250 horsepower upgrade on the top line turbocharged Forester XT. All variants add EBD to the basic ABS, and all but the X get an upgraded stereo with iPod adapter and Sirius satellite radio being capable. The XT also swaps its 16-inch wheels for new 17-inch alloy.
