XV Subaru concept car ready for production in Malaysia, in October 2012. Japanese manufacturer Subaru, Fuji Heavy Industries, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tan Chong Group to produce a compact SUV in the neighboring country, and this is the first official information that the car entered the production line.
Subaru XV will be manufactured at the factory Tan Chong Motor with 5,000 units in the target. These vehicles, according to Asia One, will be marketed in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. For technical specifications, Subaru Boxer engine XV carrying 2.0-liter four-cylinder combined with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The dimensions of this car is 36 mm longer and 157 mm higher than the Subaru Impreza.
