There are five colors available for the Suzuki Grand Vitara: Base, Premium Edition Special Premium and XSport Limited. Even the base models and the premiums are well equipped with features such as automatic climate control, power accessories, a unit of Garmin navigation and removable side bags and side curtain airbags. The Premium Edition adds expanded special navigation services (real-time traffic, movie times, the inventor of the fuel with lower prices and climate) and an audio system. The XSport has some additional features such as keyless start, while the limited luxury upgrades such as leather seats and heated front seats.
Under the hood, the Grand Vitara base 2. 4-liter-4 produces 166 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque, and can be combined with a five-speed manual transmission (at the base and Premium adjustments) or a four-speed automatic (standard on the XSport and Luxury). The 3.2-liter V6 - available only in XSport and Luxury - makes 230 hp and 213 lb-ft of torque and comes standard with a five-speed automatic transmission.
Like most compact SUVs, the Grand Vitara has a carlike unibody chassis for better body movements, rigidity and safety. Suzuki tried to distinguish, however, by incorporating a ladder frame design to unibody. The company says this increases the vehicle off-road and towing capability. In editorial comments, this SUV Suzuki won favorable comments about his long list of standard features, attractive price and above average ability when taken off the pavement.
